Problem on Algebraic Long Division and Slant Asymptote

Algebraic Long Division contains Slant Asymptote and it is as shown in the below problem.

Topic : Slant Asymptote

Given Function indicates dividing a algebraic expression by a quadratic expression and find Slant Asymptote, Quotient and Remainder.

Problem : Solve f(x) = (2x^3 - 3x^2 - 7x) / (x^2 - 2x - 3) and Find Slant Asymptote

Solution :

y=2x+1

Quotient is 2x + 1
Remainder is x + 3
Slant Asymptote is y = 2x + 1
